i think the blink 182 drummer is really talented! he is very amazing he got in a plane crash him and his friend survived but docters thought he could not walk again or play drums! but hes back!
however certain drummers are better than others. for instance.
its FACT that billy cobham is better the travis barker. FACT. its FACT that dave lambardo is better then joey jordanson.
now it also depends on the certain criteria you use
That's not a FACT, that is simply your opinion. What you think makes the guys you mentioned good drummers, someone else may think something completely different makes a person a good drummer and won't agree with your opinion at all.
ok well then by your logic. its my oppinion that im a better drummer then everyone. neil peart is a ***** compared to me and john bonham couldnt smoke enough weed to even touch my playing
Ok, i know its really impossible to say who the best is, in fact theres always someone better than you, but REV is my fav and hes pretty good but obviously people are better. Since you play drums, im just gonna ask who you think is better, The REV or Michael Thomas.
other good drummers: Dani Loble (Helloween) Dave Grohl (ex-Narvana, Foo Fighters; live only on occasion) John Bonham (Led Zeppelin R.I.P.) Uli Kusch (ex-Gamma Ray, ex-Helloween, ex-alotofotherbandsthatnooneknows, Symfonia) Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) Clive Burr (ex-Iron Maiden) and more
Since you play drums, im just gonna ask who you think is better, The REV or Michael Thomas.
michael thomas is clearly more technically skilled then the rev, however if it came down to me putting them on a list, i wouldnt put the rev ahead of michael due to the impact that the rev made on the society as a whole. he has also been a far more influential drummer than michael overall.
well it was a joke, but in retrospect he really was very influential not only as a drummer, but as a singer/songwriter as well. If we're counting cultural effect as part of this debate, we can no doubt agree that Phil Collins had a huge impact.
