Portal 2 just came out. It looks like a big hit. A while ago I remembered playing a flash game of portal and I thought it was better than Portal 2. Which one do you think is better? First of all the portal flash game maps have gotten redone into the original portal as a map pack. Thus portal flash game is roughly == portal. Except that portal has a better storyline, voice acting, graphics, gameplay, level, achievement ect...
Portal 2 has an amazing storyline, improved graphics, 8 hours of gameplay for single player, multiplayer with at least 4 hours of gameplay. It also has humor and new stuff to screw around with. Oh did I forget that it's getting free dlc around the time of summer?
I don't think it's fair to compare a low budget flash game with a high budget video game produced by an amazing company.

Kinda a ridiculous vs. they are both good games but, you know, ones a flash game.
Its bringing me to a page full of weird text when i click download so I'm going to try and find another place to download it. Have you played portal prelude? It's less of a map pack and more of another game. It's really awesome.
I wonder what "getting pulled" means. Either way, trying to compare a flash game with a video game isn't a good idea. They usually work on much different notions. Secondly, as someone stated, playerpack. Which then makes it video game vs video game. I dislike video game vs video game threads, because you just as well could go write a review for it in the "best game" sticky, which is there to kill of this type of threads by at least collecting it all in one place.
Besides that, there is a few Portal2 threads, where opinion on the game could be aired as well, and a "General Portal Discussion"-like thread would most likely solve the issue of discussion about both the games, while also being perfectly acceptable.
