I don't really see the point of adding people as friends on this site - all it does is put them on a list in your profile. I would understand if it gave you (for example) a notification for their activity/new games submitted, but currently they don't even know if you add them.
There really is no point to adding friends on this version of Armor Games other than to have a link to another user's profile. In AG3, there will be activity notifications from people who are your friends and people you are following. I think they're still open for AG3 beta. You can sign up here if you haven't done so already. There's more information about this in this forum.
