i think that ag3 should ask for your time zone so it would calculate everyone's time at which comments are posted, etc. because when i post a comment, the time it says posted is a totally different time of my time.

What time does it show for you?

For me when I go around the site it shows my timezone - which is Eastern Standard. Maybe it's that way because I've set it to that on AG3 Beta.

On the AG3 Beta you can go to your profile/privacy page then choose a time zone. I think that regulates the time so that it shows your time when you go around the site.

Yes, this is already planned. Our offices are in California, but AG2 is hosted in the Eastern time zone, so the times are 3 hours ahead of us, too. Our new servers will be set to Pacific time, and we're hoping to manipulate the times to be relative to whatever time zone (if you set one) within your profile. If you don't set one, it'll be relative to California. Still, that's also part of the reason we have "moments ago", "minutes ago", "hours ago", etc. on the activity stream, so it'll be relative no matter where you live.
