You all remember growing up with those adorable little monster, that was over ten years ago and yet they will not die. Come here and give your opinion on the show and games, do you love it, do you hate it, are you excited for the next installment, that you just know is coming, or do you think it deserves to be taken into a dark room and put out of our misery, whatever your opinion share it here. I for one loved the original, but I'm getting kind of tired of watching the main character fail at all he does, but thats just my opinion, so whats yours.
I hope for and actual FULL Pokemon game on Wii. Not a battle only game like battle revolution. Like on gamecube there was Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness. No matter what anyone says about those I greatly enjoyed them. But a pure battle game is just boring. If they made a new Pokemon snap on Wii I would buy it. Actually I wonder why they haven't. The Wiis controls seem like something they would have made a snap game out of already.
I still play Pokèmon red, yellow and gold for nostalgia's sake. I'm definitely not into the new ones, they look far to distant to what I had grown up with.
after I caught mew on poke-mans red my dreams were complete... and my ambitions fulfilled.... I don't think I played a new game after gold and silver... I just got bored w/ it.
pretty much sums it up.... CHARIZARD FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
Aww, come on, that's hard on the criters. Blaziken and Serperior as good looking as any other 1st gen pokemon, in fact, they do rank among my favorites.
The shows were a little weird, but the games were good. I didn't like Black & White very much but Heart Gold and Soul Silver were good and their older stuff was awesome.
Personally I believe the show should have ended at the conclusion of the Jhoto series, it had gone on long enough then. Pokemon Gold and Silver were the best games in my opinion as they were long and had over two hundred pokemon though not too many pokemon if you know what I mean. After that they began to get a bit, poorley designed. If I was to make a Pokemon game I'd use the first 250 and maybe some selected ones from the later generations for maybe 350-400 in all. Over time the games got too many legendaries and too many repetative Pokemon.
Now what would be interesting would be a more adult, maybe even HBO type Pokemon. Just imagine what the Pokemon could do in the series/games without being designed for kids. That would be something to watch/play.
Also if you like Pokemon and tower defense games look up Pokemon Tower Defense. So far uses the original 150 (with one addition) though is far from complete.
