I'm in a band, although its almost pretty much done. pretty lame. i play drums, we played pop punk music, like all time low or boys like girls, you know. but they want to do a genre change to more of a chiodos thing, and want to toss all of our songs. so im pretty much like, F-it at this point
The title says whos in a band? yet in your OP you say Whats ur bands genre and what do you play in it? Different things much? Well, I guess I'll answer the title. In most bands they have a singer, percussionist, electric guitar, bass guitar, and someone on a type of mixer/electric keyboard. Occasionally there'll be a rhythm guitarist, low guitarist, backup singer(s), and you might see someone on a wood or brass instrument.

Anyways... I might as well answer the second question. I'm a singer and we do alternative (Cage the Elephant, My Chemical Romance, etc.) and metal (Pantera, Rob Zombie, etc.).
i dont understand what you see is wrong with the thread really lol. he wants to know who here on AG is in a band and if so what kind of music you play in the band and what instrument you play in the band.
Im actually in two bands, one signed and one just for fun. The signed one is the band where I play rock/metal, the other one called Everlasting, is a band where we play literally all kinds of music, weve been asked to perform in schools together with the ISCF and stuff. In the signed band, Ive performed on famous stages in my country that bands like, The Scorpions , Journey and Orange Sky performed on. SO uhh yea, thats about it.
