Recently announced the latest assassin's creed title in the franchise is coming this november. You get to play as Ezio again, ezio now being 50 years old.
So anyone else looking forward to this, any hopes for changes in gameplay?
an old ezio? hm. I'm just interested in new killing methods. AC 1 was a disappointment with some promise, AC 2 used that potential and drove it home, AC B was AC 2 with a handful of new gameplay elements and the same protagonist, still a good game, but not necessarily the leap forward we saw from AC1 to AC2.
The fact that this will be the 3rd game w/ Ezio worries me, but the back cover depicts Altiar, which makes me crap my pants in glee.
I think that this game is the product of Ubisoft's new ruling to their respective subsidiaries to release a new game in the franchise every 9 or so months. One half of Ubisoft"whatever" could be working on AC Revelations, while the other half could be reworking the engine for AC 3. Hopefully, that's the case, and we'll just have one more AC 2 engine game to play through until the culmination in AC 3
I am really looking to AC revelations to since it has to do something with Altaïr and you are out of Italia, you are going to Constantinople wherever that is
It's not just going to be ezio, but Altair and Desmond involved as well, well Desmond being involved would of course be obvious.
And looking at some of the replies on this thread, such as wondering where Constantinople is, well hopefully this game will at least educate people a little bit. But to point out Constantinople was the capital of the Ottoman Empire (also known as the Turkish Empire) from 1453 to 1922, but it was also the capital of the Roman Empire from 330â"395, the Byzantine/Eastern Roman Empire from 395â"1204 , and the Latin Empire from 1204â"1261, it is now know today as Istanbul. This is just some basic information, if you wish to learn more there are books and websites available.
Back to this the game, http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Revelations as some images for the new game.
and who the **** is Ottoman, i know i can google it but i don't want to because i have school vacation
...and this is why our generation is considered ignorant...
The Ottoman Empire was a Turkish-based Islam power that defeated the Orthodox Byzantine Empire and eventually covered nearly all the Middle East, South Eastern Europe, Egypt and other parts of Africa and Asia.
European History according to Europeans at the height of the Ottoman power, was defined as "The History of the Ottoman Empire, and the nations that strive to annoy it".
The fact that ACR takes place in this kind of cultural powerhouse is wnoderful, I've always enjoyed Turkish History and hope that this game will take place in more that one city.
I mean, i LIKED Roma, but it still felt too bland. Jak 2 at least knew how to spice up the place, a port, an industrial zone, slums, water slums, a garden area, a marketplace, and a teeny tiny rich district in the middle of teh dystopian Haven City. ACB had one city that was basically a mix of all the cities from the last game, and some outside areas too.
I liked that! I liked there was grass and variety... but a little more could have been done. It was drab slum, white residential/religious, and green farmland, as the three pallettes for ACB's Roma. With the mixture of Arabian and Orthodox cultures present in Constantinople, hopefully this will allow a more visually enjoyable and explorer-friendly game world.
i hope they will come out for a release date for AC Lost Legacy for 3DS. and hopefully it will have better gameplay and characters. I loved brotherhood btw.

pls stop talking like that, it makes you sound like you think you are some kind of guru, and what does it matter that i don't know where Constantinople is. Do you think that 100 years ago American people know where Constantinople is. No because of the leak of multimedia.

A hundred years ago the Ottoman Empire was a country with the most powerful land army in the world... not to mention it was a HUGE trading center for the world... so there's more reason for folks a century ago to know where constantinople/istanbul is
