I believe the eggs drop according to whatever probability that the developer told it to go by. The easiest way to get what you want is to get the lightning storm spell and go into one of the frames where there are a lot of the monster you want in one place. Kill them all with the spell, and then you can go scavenge through the eggs and find the one of the monster you're looking for. It's a guess, but you might have like a 1 in 200 chance to get an egg. It probably isn't that low of a chance, but I hope you can understand what I'm getting at.
The skull pixie that heals/boosts isn't really that great, because you can easily get the heal spell, and it thinks the best time to heal is when you have full health or missing 5 health.
Here are the pets I have and their number, You can get an idea of how many times they pop up for each monster I have. If I only have one, that means they don't appear much. (I have a fairly large amount of pets, so this is accurate) If I don't have it, I haven't hunted them much. I think Gila Monsters don't drop eggs. Baby Blue Beetle: 6 Blue Beetle: 7 Baby Field Snake: 3 Field Snake: 1 Baby Eye Guy: 1 Baby Loomi (blue fox thing): 3 Loomi: 2 Baby Poison Beetle (green Beetle): 4 Poison Beetle: 5 Baby Thunder Snake (yellow Field Snake): 2 Thunder Snake: 1 Skull Pixie: 1 Baby Witness (yellow Eye Guy): 1 Baby Glacier Anaconda (blue Field Snake): 3 Revenant: (****** Skull Pixie that dive bombs you. Not a healing pet. Very rare. Takes almost two hours to hatch) 1
I am curious to find out something about the pets situation on thegame.
Do the "lower" forms of the species ever once they get to a sufficient level become the adult form?
i.e Baby Blue Beetle at level XXX becomes an Adult Blue Beetle? I asm because I would presume the "grown up" versions would be preferable in all cases, right?
