Nowadays new stars don't last long, they always burn too bright in the start then burn out quickly, lets start it off with Justin bieber, I give him 1-2.5 more years before he's just another one of those people that you remember was famous, and when somebody says there names you just say who.

i have givin a rant about this many many times.
allow me to do it again:
record companies dump all this money into artists so they can make their profit quicker. they MAKE SURE their artist gets to the top and quick.
so think of this, if you start up on top, there is no where to go but down. this is why when you look in the past, bands like the beatles, U2, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, they have all stood the test of time. Not ONE of them started with a super album. they built up.
bands dont do this much anymore, although there are some that are reaching for it. arcade fire, radiohead, 30 seconds to mars, foo fighters, kanye west, are all artists that are going to stand the test of time. because of the reasons ive stated above
Remember, people have always been stupid and bought millions of albums like complete schmucks.
In the 80's, little kids and zealous fans bought stuff like Madonna. In the 90's, it was music like, Vanilla ice, and New Kids on The Block.
In the 2000's, it was stuff like Britney Spear and 'N Sync and The Backstreet Boys.
Now, it's Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and lil Wayne.
Remember, just because somebody sells a lot of records doesn't mean they're talented. Otherwise Britney spears and milli Justin Bieber and 'N Sync would be considered three of the greatest artists ever.

if JB goes through puberty, (which were not sure whether or not he will) than he will lose all of his popularity.
miley cyrus is already worn out and I think it wont be long till selena gomez and demi lovato go down either, and its a different case by them, cuz biebers on the top and he has NO choice but to go down, but selena and demi are low and i think its gonna stay that way till they lose their potential.
Michael Jackosn is like the only person to start off as a child and continue in his adulthood to gain more and more and more popularity, and now, he is one of The Music Gods.
