Oh yes, and you would get extra points every time somebody liked your comment or something along those lines.

Something like that exists with merits, though it is a moderator that you have to impress, rather than the hoi polloi.

Of course, AG3 is apparently not too far away, and the whole system will change.

oh, highest rated COMMENTS. my bad, ignore my last post. i dont think thats needed since moderators give out merits for comments which give you 25 points each

Whether we actually implement it, I can't guarantee, but this idea falls under 'Reputation' so please add the idea to that thread... we'll consider the idea since we'll likely keep track of how many votes a comment gets.
