Apparently, with most religions, religious households make more money then the average american. The article suggests that it might the culture focuses more on education, which was my guess, but does anyone else have ideas as to why this is?
It is the same kind of nonsense you see spouted at "illegals stealing our jobs" Despite said jobs being picking vegatables that aren't actually wanted by americans.
That still doesn't change the fact that they are here illegally.
If they are here illegally and weren't affecting people of the country, they wouldn't care. But if they are stealing jobs, then it affects the people and they do care. Fortunately the first is the case and people are mad because they just want something to be mad about.
Just a question. Lets make you a Mexican. You're also one that hopped the border. For now, all you have is this crap job where you pick fruits a white guy would never pick. You're not stealing anything. A year goes by, you're still illegal. Then you find a job. But you dont' take it because you're here illegally ---> NOT HAPPENING. _____________________________________________________
And I didn't understand all the quoting. I said that I feel that many Jews are usually conservatives. Someone else quoted something saying Jews are democratic, but I never said that. It confused me a little.
Whatever the case, I was wrong
In 1992, George H. W. Bush (R) won 11% of the Jewish vote. In 1996, Senator Bob Dole (R) won 16% of the Jewish vote.
In 2008, exit polls showed that Barack Obama received 78% of the Jewish vote.[
Both are from wikipedia, from links about the national jewish dem. council and another about a jewish republican council.
So it seems that most are democrats [i know it's wikipedia, but I think it can surely be attested as factual for stuff like this]
So, to end it all, I think it just has to do with the fact that some are immigrants, and the others are quite wealthy and value education and traditionalism.
