Is it because it is such a good game?
I think you could've cut this part out, this is, in my opinon at first - wrong. And secondly it implies that we're jealous or something. The only thing I'm jealous of is how much the CoD developers can slack and still be paid big time.
Hit registration, lag, balance issues - all apparent in each CoD game, there are perks which are still in Black Ops that were widely hated in CoD4 and / or MW2. Why? Ignorance to the community.
Meanwhile people are exciting themselves for the all-new all-****** sequel of Call of Duty, bringing in new geurilla weapons which truly show the art of war.
Right...
It would be fine if they fixed the technical issues and balance - then it would be halirious if they stepped up their game and added humor to their unrealistic game, instead of attempting to portray it to be how war is made. Why?
Do NOT tell me it is realistic, the guns, the regenerating HP, the fact that you're this significant awesomesauce who picks all the enemies off and that your allies do cover fire.
Add humor to that, it's better.
Other than that, it's alright to sit back and kill people in a relaxed fashion, but seriously? TOO MUCH vs CoD? It's the other way around imo.
It's not even that I blame the developers - it appears that they don't really care about the quality and wqhy should they? They get paid, they're still the spotlight of FPS games (or all games).
Battlefield is the better as it lacks pretty much all of these issues (or at least, lacks a significant extent of said issues), has amazing teamwork balance, fun maps, strategic thinking, vehicles, destructible ground (thus the need for adaption) and furthermore SKILL to play this game to its full potential.
Which results in 200000 Cod vs threads.
That. And I've been ripping on CoD since MW2 on threads already made. People will probably continuing making CoD threads and it's something we have to deal with.
How about we ban any thread name using "CoD, Call of Duty" and etc? One letter differences also won't count. It would help, I hope. :>
