Copied and pasted out of "General Science Discussion" and then edited.

Well, I was searching to see if this was already made, but the searches didn't show a thread with my idea so here it is. I am making this thread so we can have a typical tavern discussion thread for all things history! Basically, a thread for everything history! Ranging from discussions about laws, politics, breakthroughs, discussion about new world events that aren't covered by the WEPR section, certain role models, and all that good stuff!
So go out there and let out your inner knowledge on history!
Basically created for stuff that won't fit in the WEPR section.

Hmm, until a historical topic comes up idk what to say.
Im good at history during and prior to the 1940's. My obsession of WW2 when I was younger helped that.

If you ever meet my teacher and attend one of his classes, you would understand. He digresses easily, goes off on lectures that unevenly covers the subject, and (on really bad days) sometimes he will start joking about the lesson. sometimes its only a pun, other times he will create a character out of thin air and pretend to be that guy for a good 5 min. you couldn't last a day if you had that class.

Ummm, so to start the thread, how about we discuss World War 2 and after since everyone knows something about that...

Its interesting, but Nazi Scientist told him that the A-Bomb would have been ready by 1945. But Hitler, being the amazing strategist he was, decided to get things started in 1939. So I wonder how things would have gone if he had waited until he would ahve really been a threat with real weapons.

Scary notion, isn't it?

If that was the case, I'd think cold war terms like mutually assured destruction would be around durring WW2. Brittian might have also been wiped of the face of the earth, and vichy france would be Hitler's personal lapdogs who would deliver the "foot ball" to any and all who oppose the Third (and maybe last, permanent) Reich.

I personally prefer ancient history though all history is fine. Which reminds me, I need change one of my school subjects back to history.

I didn't. Seriously, the "autocorrecter" in my head deceived me once again.

Discuss... DISCUS!

Yea, I mean if Hitler wanted to do something he should have waited for the A-Bomb. But with that he wanted to start the terror on, Jewish people, homosexuals, Gypsies etc.

If Hitler waited a couple more years this war would have been devastating on all the countries, I'm glad he didn't wait but sad for the fact he took all those peoples life for a stupid reason.

Now that is a good question, except you didn't put a question mark at the end of the question, so it is not a question. Human history started with the first humans being born.

Human history started with the first humans being born.

...And general history started at the first possible time it could've started, if that made any sense.

When did history start.

I'm not certain if there's an exact term for the history of the universe.

Geological history started when our planet was born. Human history started when humanity emerged. Recorded history started when prehistory ended and languages and writing were adopted. And so on..
