If you forgot your username, then send an E-mail to cormyn with the E-mail that you used to create that other account with.

I don't think this thing is necessary to have because it's simple to remember usernames. Just jot it down in notepad, or write it on a piece of paper if you don't have a good memory when remembering usernames.

Also, on AG when you login there should be something that says something along the lines of: Would you like to save your password for this site? or something like that. So when you go to login again it shows up and you don't have to type in anything.

Shouldn't you post your main account name on your about?
And shouldn't you post all of your alt accounts on your main account? If you had done this you wouldn't have forgotten the username of your main account.

You're not understanding his post. He can't get on his main account because he forgot his username for it. That's why he's on that account.

Sometimes you forget because you have different usernames for different things just in case. so if someone finds your info, then they can't mess up all your stuff. so you might have used a different username and forgot about it. having so many different accounts of so many things it's hard to remember. it would be nice to have a "Forgot Username" in those, ... dumb moments.

Usually for every browser, it will give you the name is history. Like my username (not real name, I'm Italian) is Acmed. I type in "A" and a bar will say "acmed". Use the same browser you log in with, and that'll show up. Hopefully you know the first letter of your username.

If your history is not there, like others said, send cormyn an email with the same email.

That doesn't work if
1) he doesn't know the first letter of his username
2) he has cleared his cookies

Doesn't it send you an email notification when you sign up that gives you an activation code?

Yes, it does. What I'm really asking is, doesn't it tell you what your username is in that email?

I would suggest that you never log out again to avoid this problem

Actually, a log out will automatically occur after a certain amount of time.

If you stay logged in overnight and come back the next day, you should be alright.

It's not an overnight thing. After being logged in for a few days, you will automatically be logged out. I know this because it has happened to me several times.

Not sure. I don't have the Armor Games registration E-mail in my inbox anymore. It does give you a link to activate your account, so I think you should click that to see if it directs you to your account.
