for AG3, how about instead of telling everybody about this "brilliant" friend search, community search, etc, put the search on... hmm... the website!!!! that'll be a lot easier than going and asking for links everytime we want to find a forum or friend

That is going to be on the new version of AG. It's already been discussed several times. Read the forums buddy, there is all sorts of great information out there so you don't have to make threads about questions which have already been answered. Numerous times.

Acmed, we've already stated SEVERAL times in the sticky message about forums that we will have a forum search once we decide on a forum engine.

User search is already implemented, and you can see lists of your friends, who you follow, and who follows you.

None of these will be added to the existing web site.
