Call of Duty has just come out with Escalation and inside is four new multiplayer maps with a new zombies map.(George Rocks!) And they just announced a new Modern Warfare 3 AFTER Escalation came out probably so they can get more money. I'm not sure but there are some rumors they're dumping Treyarch just like they dumped Infinity Ward two years ago but don't forget i'm not sure.

Wow They are loosing someone else? If they do they are going to suck.
I think there going to dump trey-arch because the simple fact that trey-arch simply sucks, there hit spots blow there always off centered every game i have played from them was pretty terrible if you ask me dont worry activison will be ok they will do anything in there power to keep call of duty alive, and if they cant they will go back with infinity ward
Infinity ward is much better. I think they have better Call of duty's. They made Cod 1 Cod 2 Cod 4 and Cod Modern Warfare 2. Treyarch made Call of duty's which weren't as fun. I mean COD3 was boring as hell. With Call of Duty 5 they went from the future (cod4) to WW2 again. And Black ops is just not fun FOR ME
if they get new developers then they can actually make some changes to the whole game. not just make minor adjusments and release a new one. again like chillz said, the changes that were made between COD3 and COD4 were the best, they made COD4 one of the most revolutionary (if not THE most revolutionary) FPS to ever come out. ever since, they haven't really done much with the series.
so if not only infinity ward AND treyarch are gone, maybe some changes for the better will happen. even though they dont really have to :/. MW3 will probably break sales records anyways just because it has the COD logo on it. stupid people need to learn how to spend there money i guess
Treyarch is way better than IW, they're is virtually no problems with their engine.
Bah! They piggybacked off the success of Modern Warfare 1 TWICE! At least Infinity Ward decided to make some vertical movement after CoD 2 (CoD 3 was made by Treyarch)
and another thing, Treyarch isn't ditched, they interval making CoD's with Infinity Ward, the larger, more muscular, handsomer, and better quality brother. Infinity Ward is crippled, stripped of its biggest talent, of whom are fleeing to EA after the mistreatment of Activision.
Modern Warfare 3 will be made by 3 developers, IW and Sledgehammer (an Activision subsidiary) will make the singleplayer campaign, and Raven Software (a bad FPS developer) will build the multiplayer.
