First of all I don't hate Cod it's just that whenever I post something on this website people say "I hate MW2" then someone else says "Did your mother drop you on the head when you were born? MW2 Rocks!" Then you get a dose of some "C'mon people we all know Black-Ops is the best cause it's the newest" Now there is some no-Life in his basement from the 60's that goes on a rampage about World at War and Der Reise. So my point is just say Cods you like and Cods you hate and why cause I'm totally confused about people yelling at Infinity Ward or Treyarch or Activison.
its not that they were bad games, they were just bad sequels. its all the same thing pretty much. EVERY change that has been made, could have been released in a downloadable expansion pack
I hate any COD made by Trayarch because those people don't know how to innovate. They take everything awesome that Infinity Ward added in and add in a few terrible things they came up with, and produce a worse copy of the last game.
CoD4 was the standard for First Person Shooters - some aimed beyond that, but in the end CoD4 is my fav. (I haven't played CoD1 to 3) and even then it can be much better - just that none of the sequels (as in MW2 and Black Ops) has matched up to its gameplay. I don't know why - I can surely take a guess but in the end do I care enough to go through the long list of assumptions I receive from the seemingly minimal effort the CoD developers put through for the same game every year?
Not really. I am getting Battlefield 3, I'm sticking with Starcraft II and that alone is entertaining enough for me.
