I have just recently gotten into aquaponics and am setting up a system with a tank I have. So I was just curious if anyone else on here has either heard of aquaponics or has a system of their own.

I would also love to hear what people think of this method of growing food.
So I have had a little bump in my aquaponics system. I went to wet my Hydroton and found that I need to silicone some parts of my growing bed(GB). At least I found out before I brought the GB inside. I would have had water all over my floor.
Well seeing as I have really only be working on it on Sundays or when I have the time, it could take me awhile. I sure others have set theirs up in less time. But I tend to procrastinate a lot on stuff as well so that never helps. I do need to get it up sooner rather than later so that my cilantro doesn't die. I hope to finish it this weekend after I get paid so I can by another u-bend for the piping that I will be pumping water through to the GB.
