The problem with making a list of "reputable" game sites is that the list is only as good as the reputation of the person building the list.
For example ... I, for one, wouldn't trust a list of "top ten places to eat sushi" unless I had personally eaten sushi with the person who wrote the list.
And as soon as you generate a list, people want it "ranked" or sorted in some sort of order saying which game site is better than another, and that sort of ranking algorithm is always going to lean to the bias of the person writing the algorithm.
