I'm going to say no. Just because a lot of people like it doesn't mean it is the best. There are other game series with a lot better things than cod.

i think cod is one of the worst series ever, all of the games are the same but with different skins.

What a stupid topic. To me, every gamer that respects himself as such can't put forth a single video game/series as being ''the best''. Video games are too diversified to be rated as arbitrarily as that.

So my answer is no, of course not. It may the best of some sort of category, like ''realistic shooter'', but in any case can it be qualified as ''the best''. No game can, it's as simple as that.

no, the games itself aren't "bad games" they are just bad sequels. the improvements made between cod 4, to MW2, to black ops, was very very little.

there are FAR better game series' out there. I.E. mario, zelda, MGS, GOW, Burnout, Resident evil, final fantasy, KH
