Well what i did was spam boar riders and protect the one at the front with the null spell that nullifies spells. I believe that stage 8 is the hardest in the Gaul campaign. But, once you beat this level, your reward is a battle with the behemoth which are awesome but are slow, but that can be fixed with the ice slide.

Well, in order to beat the last level, i used my miners to mine of course, then after that a spamed behemoths and boar riders and mace riders sometimes if im low on funds. Here is a big hint for using the behemoth, they are slow so in order to make them go faster, i suggest you use the ice slide. The behemoth are your best units and they can take down alot of enemies. I suggest you don't waste your money on archers or berserkers, use raiders to finish off weakened enemies who slipped through your behemoths and boar riders. Do not make any real attempt to finish them off until all of the boar reinforcements arrive otherwise you will be wasting your money. When ceaser comes out, try to get some behemoth to attack him as they can deal excellent damage and still last to deal it. I hope i didn't fry your brain with this long post.
