What about Tien and Yamcha? I thought they were stronger than Krillin.
Favorite heroes: Goku, Vegeta(when he turns good), Gohan, Piccolo(when he turns good.) I like them all because of how they are portrayed in the show, and all the fighting scenes that they are in. Favorite villains: Cell, Super Buu, Android 17 and 18, Cooler, Broly. Them because they are the best villains, in my opinion, and offer the best fights.

If you've seen him when he's fighting, he's great. It took a lot of the heroes to take him down because of how powerful he was. He's the legendary super saiyan.
Here are my favorite by season. (both heroes and villains) Please be aware that these are the UNCUT seasons, NOT DBZ Kai.
Season 1 Good: King Kai, he laughs at every joke. Evil: Raditz, we never got to see "Double Sundae."
Season 2 Good: Goku, a lot of things went wrong on his way to namek. Evil: Captain Ginyu, none seem to remember his "training" of Freiza's soldiers.
Season 3 (which is strangely one battle) Good: Goku, he made one comment that won him as my favorite hero of season three. Evil: Captain Ginyu, he was a frog. He took Bulma's body, and was thwarted by Gohan when he threw Bulma, who is now the frog, in front of Ginyu, who was trying to take Piccolo's body. I'll stop here to avoid more spoilers.
Season 4 Good: Master Roshi, watch the first six episodes, you'll know why. Evil: Android 16, he will not fight unnecessarily, just like Goku.

Oh! Gogeta was in the DBZ timeline, but in a movie. SS4 Gogeta was in GT. Krillin is more powerful than Yamcha even in Dragon Ball, I don't know about Tien though, I've only watched seasons one and two. (Pilaf, Mai, and Shu were a riot though.)

I agree. One episode (yes, just one) in season 4 made Goku and Piccolo my second and third favorites respectively for that season. I'm new to this site, I hope the quote works correctly this time.
I used to watch the show a long time ago and even play some of the video games. My favorite character was Piccolo because I thought he looked really cool and I liked his antennas.
