What makes the distinction between "help" and "ignore".
I think the US (if that's what you mean by 'we' wants to see what will happen in Iran. If the Iranians want to revolt against their government then why should we always help. We end up pissing people off even though we are only trying to help. If they don't want our help then so be it. Or if they want our help but then complain about us then why should we.
My question is, why did we help the people in Libya, but we aren't helping the people in Iran? What makes the distinction between "help" and "ignore".
The Libyan government was weaker, easier to access, and was in no position to wage a war, and was already in revolution.
For the most part, America doesn't do much pre-revolution. Iran's crap like this has happened even since the 70's. Do you know they made an Iranian version of Barbie? I feel the old, super religious people are dying out and a younger generation of people is coming in, and the Iranian government wants them on their side.
I'm sure that if a huge, pro-American revolution were to be staged, we would help in some way. I doubt that anyone would support our intervention beforehand, afterall, we thought putting in the Shah would have been a great idea and that idea failed so I think we know we're already on Iran's 'i hate you' list.
look guys and i am iranian i am happy you guys are talking of our country . you know iran has some strong misels and bombs and when irans goverment gets crazy it will use them on suedi arabia eygept libya and other countries around so if america comes and attack iran our stupid goverment will destroy some parts of these countries i mensioned and trust me iran is not lybia that gets destroyed by 3 or 4 attacks and ppl win our army is strong this is bad . and getting our country convinced that ppl get the control is impossible !!!
the only way to people of iran win this war is to people do the works by their self .
Because the US is afraid of starting another war. We as a nation are sort of tired of having troops overseas all the time, so it would not be a good strategy to start a 3rd war. Also, Iran is friends with Russia and China, so a war with Iran could lead to a 3rd World War...
Iranians tried to topple their government Egypt style around a year ago if I'm correct and all they got was a massacres by the government. And yea like Zakyman said, no Western country wants to get into a war overseas. Even it would be an easy war the public wouldn't let them, it would be Vietnam all over again. The same thing about Syria btw. France and the rest of the West don't want to get involved there like in Libya because there Hezbollah and Iran can actually hit back and make it into a real war.
