I've noticed that there are literally no movies or games based on WW1. Well, toy soldiers counts as a game, but still. No movies. Is this because there are no surviving vets? Just think that WW1 would be interesting to make a movie of.

The majority of WWI was a bunch of guys sitting in trenches getting shot at. Hollywood doesn't think thats very 'intense'.

A movie on some of the special operations of WWI would be sweet, I agree.

Oh yeah Ernie, I forgot about that:P and I don't See Why Hollywood doesnt think it's intense. I think it would Be interesting.

The issue is that in the war, it took forever to gain any ground with a high casualty rate. And as Maverick said, it would be just standing in a trench firing, with the occasional crossing of no-man's land. The concept of "Warfare 1917" is about as much as you can do with a WWI game.
