screaming evolved from punk music. atleast the REAL screamo is. i dont mean bands like bullet for my valentine at all. they arent screamo. they are a heavy metal band.

okay screamo takes not talent? thats a lot of crap! of course it takes talent! they play live shows and scream for.... 30 minutes? 1 hour? you do that and see what happens! you will lose your voice so fast it wont even be funny! and they still sing like normal in some songs AFTER screaming. try it and see how it goes. of course it takes talent.

i dont really care much for screamo (like maybe 2 or 3 good bands and thats being polite)
hard rock is usually awesome (emphasis on the usually) one of my favorite hard rock bands is Alter Bridge. they are a relatively young band with only 3 albums. i own all three and i must say, they have 0 bad songs so far. however, as usual i dont put too much faith into young bands because they are the most likely to change (it happened to Metallica and more recently, to Sonata Arctica). but for now they are really awesome.
other good bands that are hard rock (for the most part) include Foo Fighters (yeah i know they are considered grunge but they have some hard songs like The Pretender and White Limo), Breaking Benjamin (kinda over rated but still good), Disturbed (but they started off crappy), Disciple (nothing bad to say about them), Pillar (although they have a rap aspect and a really weird first album) P.O.D. (once again with a rap aspect and a weird album but overall still good), Hail To The Villain (another young band with only one album) and thats about it
