Theres an article about it somewhere. The developer wouldn't be paid if he made a third one due to something that went on between him and Max Games.

Age of War 3... I hope to play it.
u need to do lots of research like i had, basically maxgames have put a law sute on him saying he cant make anougher age of war.instead he been intelligent and made war of ages which will be the replacement for age of war 3 but it will still be by him but slighhtly different this is a link to his peronal website where he has a blog on it
