Sincerely, I think building the hydroelectric is a bad thing for the environment and for the people who live there. The country (I live in Brazil) doesn't need such a big thing because there are pretty much hydroelectric dams around the country and the president don't do ****, just create "anti-homophobia" kit and other useless things. I didn't want her to win last year's elections but, do what? Today there were more protests around the country and I think the president must have some more pressure now than before. And the environment minister is such a lier too, in the past he said he was making a lot of environmental laws and projects but we are still stopped. If this building gets ready, more and more hydroelectric dams will take place in Amazon and I'd lose my hopes..

I think that it is a terrible idea. From what I know, Brazil already has enough hydroelectric dams, and if this one gets built completely, then it might open up the Amazon for these environmentaly harmful projects. And they say that hydroelectricity is a "green" form of energy.
