Coldplay is, by far, the most talented musical group I've heard. Every time they come out with a new song or album, it is a totally new style, yet still amazing.

Their new song, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, is fantastic. It is new and innovative for Coldplay, yet still has their amazing talent showing through.

I hope they continue making music for decades.

Coldplay is going through a number of festivals this Summer, but I have heard that the band has already begun creating songs for a new album!

I can't wait to hear more songs from them; they are always so new and innovative, just as enigma117 said.

If you're a true music lover, then saying that is just wrong; you shouldn't make such arbitrary comments or you may get in trouble here. I love Coldplay. Put simply, they're one of my favorite bands, however, I'm well versed enough in music to admit there're a lot of more musically talented bands out there.

As I always say about Coldplay; one of the reasons they're the best at what they do is the fact I can go through each and every album without having an urge to skip a song.

I apologize. I had a worry while writing that phrase, and I was called out for it. I will be more meticulous with my words in the future.

However, I do still believe that they are incredibly talented. Every album they release is different from the previous; even the individual songs are quite different from one another. I applaud their diversity and hope that they will continue making great music.

Just a little bit of advice for the future, really. If you venture into the more serious parts of the forum, i.e. the WEPR, you'll get shot down faster than you can say ''egg salad''. Don't worry, I'm not flustered at all, I just love Coldplay too.

They're icredibly creative on the musical side, they have pretty good lyrics and no one can deny the vocal talent of Chris so yes, I believe they're a remarkable band, and no one can objectively say they are bad.

Well...I'm not sure about that. I've heard many Coldplay fans critic them because their two first albums were very, very similar. Parachutes and A rush of blood to the head both goes along very parallel lines in my opinion; not that it causes me a problem, they're perhaps my two favorite albums. Anyhow, I think they started to evolve by the time they created X&Y. You could distinctively hear the influence of modern rock, and overall, the album was a little less smooth than the others; a truly masterful blend, with such pieces as ''fix you'', ''The hardest part'' and ''White shadows'' living alongside each other. X&Y is, in fact, one of the most loved album of the Coldplay fanbase. They've shown just how diversified they can be with the release of Viva la vida, so even though I loved the original style, I hope they'll continue to impress us with their music - which I'm sure they'll do.

Got me again.

I am particularly interested now after hearing Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall. When I first heard it, I thought, this can't be Coldplay. Did someone post the wrong song? But then I heard Chris's voice and after listening to the song, I decided to listen to it again. And again. And maybe a few more times. Their singles, Christmas Lights and Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, have left me thirsting for their next album!
