Ok, the fourth installment in the Fable franchise. On the friggan Kinect. Of all of the stupid decisions in the Gaming world, is this not one of the worst? Give me your opinion, and check out the trailer and blog on ign.com for this game.

I think it should be just like Fable TLC.
No guns, just swords, bows and crossbows. And the fact that it is for kinect is a stupid decission (**** how to write this). You can't even walk yourself. But i admit the magic looks really cool

Yeah, that's not Fable 4. It's just some spin-off for the Kinect. Looks awful, though.

It looks great but they'll lose a bunch of money because of those faithful franchise followers who don't have a kinetic. Like me, maybe they release a platform version.

I want it on PC dammit! Why would I play a game like fable on Kinect? It will lose all the RPG feeling.

Guys, if you don't want to play it, don't buy it! Problem solved. If you don't have it, there's no point in complaining how bad it is, and when you think about it, this thread is now pointless. Case closed!

I'm not getting why you guys are all being stubborn about new ideas. I think a Fable Kinect title will be good for us, and maybe using this new hardware will force Peter Molyneux to give us some legit strong choices. I still love him and his games though!

I am looking forward to this one, simply because its on the Kinect. Lionhead is trying something new, and should be applauded for that. With all the samey-modern shooters with the SAME EXACT CONTROLS as a FPS juggernaut (ahem, Homefront, I'm talking about you), its nice to see games like Crysis and this new Fable title try to take some steps forward in the industry, maybe find something new for us to latch onto and use as a grappling point for new and exciting maneuvers.

Fear not change, good friends, for that is what makes us ignorant, and in this vivid industry, we can't afford to stay monotonous.

That, and it isn't going to turn out well if you don't look out for it, when you support it and it fails, it does not deserve your money, but Fable is a franchise a lot of you guys say you love - and so do I, I care for Fable: The Journey and hopes this new method works out very well.

It is on a platform - Xbox 360 Kinect. Are you mad because it's not multiplatform, because Fable 3 is, its PC and Xbox 360.

The Magic looks very cool so far. To bad you can't walk, talk or do anything else then fight -_-. I think they should make a special multi platform version of it after Fable The Journey.

Yeah, that seems like one of the biggest flaws. You didn't exactly play the prequels because of the fighting, especially after they decided to make the player immortal.

Well we dont really know yet if we can talk. I like how the game looked at E3 on the kinect cause it makes you feel like part of the game. Im pretty sure that you will be able to talk and stuff cause Kinect has voice control!

I think i just might cry i was looking forward to playing a new Fable especially after how awesome the third one was. Now its been kind of ruined you can't even go where you want to and you can't even aim. Just please let them scrap this and work on Fable 4 please.

I am glad that Fable: The Journey has no resemblance with the other Fable games, becaues it would be a distater, how could that game be an RPG? The spell option will make the game like a shooter type and the hack&slash (meele) will really destroy all the atmosfere, how could you enjoy playing an rpg when you need to jump all over the room, cast arcane spells or kamehameha or anything else, and when you`re fighing with a sword you`ll just use the rage to kill it. Even if the concept of the game it`s intresting you can`t change a game that much and still say it`s a franchise of the original FABLE gameplay !!!
Hope some 1 will agree with me.

But the thing is you easily can change a game that much and still have it part of the franchise -- this is a spin-off game, as it's not even based on the Bloodline your character is a segment of in the previous 3 games.

This game could actually resolve a lot of plotholes or speculation within the story of Theresa, as we all see her in the trailer trying to hitch a ride and also using her "mythical" arcane powers. I draw that conclusion because of the robes she wears, the voice is the same and this is set before Fable 2 -- otherwise your hero would have some part in it and magic would be more... popular. She isn't stuck in the tower either.

The gameplay I'm not sure of -- it doesn't appear to be my game -- I'd much prefer your standard RPG (although Skyrims style is much more entertaining for me now). Does that matter? No, there's other options out there (hello, Skyrim) that aren't TOO different and whilst Peter Molyneux has refrained from extending his games entertainment factor (after becoming King and extending yourself beyond Albion there's not too much more you can do aside from going to Outland and killing Illidan), probably because there's little he can do at this point.

Give this game a chance, Peter Molyneux has always seeked innovation in both how games are played and how stories are handled out -- I am confident that there will be a viable Unique Selling Point to this game that I and others could commend it for.
