I've noticed that the delete button is only available on one's own profile, yet I sometimes make mistakes posting in the forums, particularly when typing actionscript code. Is there any plan to give users the ability to remove their own posts from the forums? At least for a limited time after they are posted, to make it easier to clear up any mistakes.

I don't think there'll be a delete post button, but in AG3 there's going to be an edit post button. For more information check this thread.

Aren't the AG staff supposed to delete the spam posts?

It doesn't have to do with spam, he mistypes something in his post or makes a mistake.

The only problem with a delete button would be a case of

"You said this"
"Oh yeah? I didn't, look through the thread all you want, I never said that" *Deletes post*

Well, admins would still see the deleted messages though, so even if someone was trolling then decided to go back and delete their message, any admin could still act on it.

Still, as GhostOfMatrix said, feel free to post ideas, etc., on the thread in the AG3 forum. We probably won't have a user-clickable delete button, we may or may not have the user edit button.
