Okay, so I was wondering, how many ideas for names can people come up with for one thing? Let's find out.
What's the best name for a boy and why?
Please do find out what the name means too.

Take Oscar for instance, anybody like that name?
It means 'spear of the demon.'

Another good name for a boy is Maveth.
It's Hebrew for ' death.'

I like these names until you get to the meanings, they're so negative.
I also like the name Daniel. It has a nice ring to it, and the meaning isnt negaitive. It means God is my Judge.

Yes, sheppard007, Daniel is also one of my favorites. It does sound really good too.
Sorry about the triple post. I kept forgetting what I wanted to say.
And Percy's a cool name, what's it mean?

Percy means Piercing the Valley (no clue why?) and the origin is French. I honestly thought that Percy was a lame name when I first picked up the first percy jackson book, but now I think it is epic. Goes to show how an author can manipulate your mind.

it means &quotierced valley" in english or "from percy" in french. It's also short for percival. i know this isn't a guy's name but medusa would be a cool name.

the word medusa means jellyfish. (just seemed like an interesting fact)
The name medusa is derived from the Greek word "medomai" which means "to play or to contrive."

Medusa means 'jellyfish?" Ew.
Should I change the idea?

I guess that's my cue to change the idea.
What name best embodies the cruelest person

Medusa actually means guardian and is from latin. but I guess it could mean different things from different languages and places.

Oh, I see. It's still not a very attractive name given its where it gained its popularity.

Guys, theword Medusa means jellyfish. When it is used as a word. When used as a name, which we are discussing here, it means something else.
