Gantic Romantic offers an intimate look into Armor Games' most mysterious moderator beginning with his early writing experience, through his innovative and subversive contest entries, his subsequent inclement vignettes set in the subconscious, and his lean but pithy literary stylings and reserved humor that forever cemented his aura of mystique. In a riveting series of autobiographical interviews conducted by himself in third person, the lexophilic moderator explores his enlightening three years on Armor Games. By drawing on his past experiences and indirectly encouraging others to see beyond the word during the time he has spent in the community, the eclectic writer unknowingly shrouded himself in impenetrable sesquipedalia and Gantitudinal platitudes but in [i]Gantic Romantic[i] now seeks to cut through the clutter capitalizing characteristic incisiveness to unveil the truth. The interviews revel in his sense of wordplay and whimsical subversion of language transparent in his dialogue as both the interviewer and interviewee. While too often are writers, and other artists, too vain to recognize their own failings, this impressive collection of verbose and laconic conversations is both an inflationary and humbling commentary--on himself and the community in which he seems hermetic.
Unravel the mysteries Friday nights at 11 pm, starting June 10th.
Don't worry folks. Everyone's a critic! Hear what the critics are saying:
"I'm getting more curious by the second, honestly." -- T.C.T., I Dunno, It Changes "This sounds interesting... I can't wait until tomorrow night." -- G.O.M., Athenaeum of Artistic Adroitness "Anticipation is increasing. ^,^" -- M. Fairy, The Metrophobia "Um weird" -- matt17000, Not The First Time "So far, I give it 5/10 albino red pandas. To be fair, I could only find five albino red pandas." --aknerd, Acceptable Anecdotes "Thanks for ze lolz" -- Deadly V., The Writings of DV "This is a glorious thread." -- knight_34, Time to Count
"Lore is better." -- Xzeno, Rap Battle vs. Gantic "Nothing good has come of my posts since Written Nothings." -- Gantic, Lore "Except this. For now." -- Gantic, Gantic Romantic
Also, dudes, I use simple words. ROaTNO, WN, and Lore are all mostly written in simple English. It's only when I'm rambling (or just messing around) do I use words that mostly only Strop understands. If anything, discounting his medical background, Strop regularly writes at a higher level of vernacular.
As anticipation builds, will Gantic Romantic be more mind-blowing than imaginable or will it fizzle out? Find out, tonight!
"Gantic Romantic: Down the Rabbit Hole" Tonight @ 11 pm!
Well, so far your post to views ratio is much higher than Lore. Also, I'm sure there must be some sort of record here for the number of people commenting in regards to a post that hasn't happened yet. So... congrats?
I found another albino red panda, but I'm holding it in reserve until I can determine how many layers deep the joke is here. Or until I get hungry.
You have a very nice vocabulary, though you have misused 'inclement'.
Interviewing yourself shall be very interesting. One the one hand, it could result in a very exceptional read. On the other, it could result in you developing Multiple Personality Disorders. Third Person is quite fickle, I've found.

I'm sorry Gantic, but I'm just too much of a hipster to like this as much as Lore. It's too... accessible. Too many replies. I'd like to say something like "This is shockingly awesome. Most highly-anticipated piece of writing on AG", I'm not quite there yet.

lol That wasn't even close to the word I was going for. It's not the most embarrassing 'slip of tongue' I've had, and I've had plenty. Of the Freudian sort.
Lol you remember my old animation thread? Awesomeness.
Didn't remember what it was called. Had to look it up.

And people call me a hipster. I don't dress like one though, even though I live in like on of the hippest happenin' cities out there.
This isn't even a this yet. Lore essentially has 0 replies.
But Written Nothings is still better than Lore. Fun fact: Lore is the child of ROaTNO and Written Nothings.
