Hm. That took a while to type.
Frostbite 2 has graphics that can contend with the CryEngine, impeccable audio, and Destruction physics that truly immerse a player into the game.
So this October, will you join us in playing a game that the multiplayer community of the world has waited for 7 years? Not as impressive an incubation time as Duke Nukem Forever mind you, but do me a favor. I've said this multiple times, but if you're new to me, just listen. watch a gameplay video of Battlefield 3, and cover the HUD with your hands. just try it.
After you've done that, let's discuss Battlefield 3, what it is, what the Battlefield series has meant to us, and what might be changed after this monumental release.
I wouldn't go as far as saying "erfection..." But it does look d**n good. Although I don't get how its already Best of E3 when E3 isn't over. I can say I will definitely be getting this game day one, assuming I have money left over from MW3, otherwise for Christmas.
Battlefield 3, perfect? pschhh, fat chance. I'll be ****ed if Battlefield, or any FPS game for that matter, is deamed as a 'Perfect Game'.
Is it good? Absolutely. Miles better than much of any other FPS this year (Homefront, CoD, DNF (they've made it look like every other generic FPS which I despise)).
I agree with Jon. For the technology and for the Genre, this could compete as a perfect game but truthfully no FPS is the best. Sure, they're great, and so is pretty much EVERY genre, but they're better for different things and I think should be treated as such.
