Why would you post a speed bio with two Crystalize on a thread calling for non-stunners???

Also, hacking your teammates attributes is weak sauce.

For a no_stun_locking fight, here's a pretty good, but maybe not the best, Psychological. If you want to try him against a speed bio, then be sure to use Shock Therapy anytime the Bio casts Shadow Blend. If the Bio uses either Toxicant or Predator Form, the Psycho should respond in kind with Wraith Form. I've been playing around with no-stun Psycho vs Bio pvp a lot tonight, and it's a really interesting fight. The Psycho's Shock Therapy effectively negates the Bio's Shadow Blend, and often the fight comes down to what the teammates do. If Roald on either side silences or stuns the opposing Sonny, it's bad news for that opposing side. Setting Veradux to defensive or phalanx can help both sides, but sometimes hurts.

If you want to do this seriously, then don't use any hacked files. That's easy to do, and I can post a Sonny with 16000 speed. Big deal. Figuring out the in and outs of the abilities and how to use them is the point.

And here's a Bio build I've recently been using to try to counter that Psycho. Note that this is strictly no stuns. Also, the Bio doesn't use Shadow Blend, since that can be dispelled too easily with Shock Therapy. Against any other character, I'd almost certainly have Shadow in there.

If either of these seem easy to kill without stun locking, post your opponent and tell me what the strategy is. The Psycho in particular is very reactive, and his strategy depends a lot on what the opponent does.

Ileacus, you have a flaw in your strategy with wraithform response. See, if you wraithform, and get speed advantage, enemy (player only, but still) responds with shadow blend, regaining speed advantage, so that the bio will have a second turn straight, then withdrawal, so what that both withdrawal and SB will get dispelled, the damage is done and is big enough to slaughter the psycho, or Roald, speaking of stuns.

A Psychological that has all allocatable attribute points in Instinct doesn't get a speed advantage over a speed Bio when using Wraith Form. For instance, the Psycho I posted above has a speed of 122 with gear, Wraith Form boosting that to 610. A speed Bio will typically have a speed over 650, sometimes over 600 if you go all out for speed with the gear. Assuming equal or nearly equal teammates, the Psycho doesn't get a double move after using Wraith Form, and thus doesn't give one up when the Bio uses Shadow Blend.

If you knew the opposing teammates ahead of time, I suppose a Bio could gear the teammates for lower speed to take advantage of that, but the Psycho could do the same thing to negate it.

That should read "sometimes as high as 666 if you go all out for speed with the gear", in reference to a Bio's speed.

is your psycho that slow? A surprise, in fact. I was expecting a psycho to have ~200 speed natively, fully geared. About gearing allies for lower speed - yes, this works, also a bio can gear himself for a little lower speed (if knowing opponents ahead of time, he'd know your speed or will have an estimate of this), and a bio has naturally wider window for gearing, because a psycho won't have an ability to lower speed of self below a certain point. So, say a bio geared self for ~550 speed (use corruptor gear!!! It has shadow piercing), then he can trick you into using wraithform, then you will have a speed advantage, while his shadow piercing will give him a substitute punch for loss of raw speed stat, so effectively his damage with Withdrawal won't drop. Or he could gear himself up into vitality to withstand psycho's attacks better, because then a psycho could use wraithform to nuke enemy Sonny with double-relentless and two turns, after which speed difference won't mean a thing. This will require more complicated stuff to do

All Psychos are slow... relative to Bios. I wrote all the raw attributes for each class at level 30 in the other thread. Hydros are the slowest, but Psychos aren't much quicker by default. Assuming Cryptic armor all around, Psychos are fairly slow and basically won't ever get over 150 or so.


That said, I did mess around with the Bio's gear to drop his speed just below 610. A Bio with all points in speed, wearing Velocious Armor, Legplates, and Gloves, and Guardian Helmet and Boots, wielding Flame Katana has exactly 600 speed. Just the right amount to grab a double move with Shadow Blend over a Psycho in Wraith Form. And it gives lots of extra health. But, of course, you can see exactly what gear your opponent has and adapt your strategy for it. So far, I still haven't figured out a strategy for any class that can beat the Psycho I posted above - assuming no stuns, of course. Wraith Form + Insecurity + (Dark Echoes) + Shock Therapy or Nightmare is just too devastating, and there's no way to stop it unless Roald or Felicity uses their Silence attack.

Still waiting for the Ice Hydro that can't be defeated.

Now that I'm thinking about it.... a Bio with Disrupt might do the trick. Psychos are very dependent on focus.......

with no stuns, a hydro can beat a psycho, using mind freeze 4/4 x2, 6/8 turns you will be unable to throw anything good. A psycho has only one non-stun move that's not using focus, that's Dark Infusion. So then, you catch MF, then 2xGlacier, then MF, then 2xGlacier, then Shatter (and nuke by teammates) will most likely be enough for that psycho. But Veradux helps there with heals, and Roald with GP.

sorry for double post I forgot about electric storm. It's stronger than DI, but still, turning an enemy into an attack dummy is hard enough.
