TBH you can't compare a FPS to a, third person assassin meele/shooter.
In sales numbers, MW3 will definitly outnumber the new ACR because it is in the more populaur FPS catagory, and CoD Modern Warfare has a very high standard.
Thread should be locked... can't compare an FPS to a 3rd person Stealth/Adventure game...
I actually can't really think of any games that i can compare Assassin's Creed to... Every FPS used to compare itself to Doom, then Halo: CE, and now MW1, it keeps changing. Due to teh lack of stealth games in the market, and the fact that AC is drastically different from Splinter Cell, AC can't really be compared to anything else.
I'm still gonna get both games. I'm expecting a lot from AC:Rev., and I'm putting 60$ on the line for MW3, simply because i liked how they were getting back to the roots of a full-scale war, and no more of this bull-crap spec-ops dung.

I agree to a point. They should go back to full on war, but if they must do all the Spec Ops stuff, it should be like Black Ops, you versus many with a lot of running and gunning.
to be honest i like AC more than CoD because it is more unique and has a great storyline and CoD has way too much games and i find they are all prety much the same, altough i'm prety sure lots of people like CoD over AC its all a matter of personal choice and what you expect of these games.
A better vs. would be MW3 vs. BF3. There so much going on between the two. (lets use Japanese stuff here) The Dragon (MW3) vs. The Tiger (BF3) two powerful yet equal opponents.
assasins creed has a better campaign but call of duty has a better multiplayer
I strongly disagree-CoD has a very generic multiplayer with a new credit card system that steps on some toes in the economy we live in today while AC:B had a multiplayer immensely unique and utterly fun, kill someone before they get points for killing someone and before you get killed, and try to be descreet. No more 'nade spamming. (well, it is fun to do that in CoD 2... gets you through Veteran for that 1000G)
For me I hate Call of Duty. That makes me incredibly biased, if it wasn't for the fact Assasins creed wasn't so rehashed with the ending of the second game. Aliens and an apocalyptic solar flare theory that has no relation in the game. The realism and reconstruction of cities though as an exploration factor is probably what gets me, so I'll probably get it over Call of Duty any day.
