I still have my PS2 but I don't really play it anymore, I mean, I have completed almost all the games I have on it but now I mostly play games on PC. But GTA was awesome for PS2, I can't deny it
Ah PS2, my first console. Sure, those Microsoft guys had Halo, but I had my favorite three games for each passing year that shaped me, Jak, Ratchet, and Sly. Eventually, I was introduced to Kratos' mighty blades, and my dropped testicles thank him everyday for the lessons he gave me.
Never got around to Ico or Colossus, and I'm sad, but I might just find these somewhere in my local game store's discount bin and reboot my pre-slim PS2 just for the sake of Games.
Anyone else notice that the PS2 and all the older consoles can work well for years without problems while the new gen consoles only work for ~3 years? I guess it's because the older consoles don't have all that extra junk in them.

I was thinking the same thing. All of the new systems have something like a 10 year life expectancy, but that's feeble compared to the Nintendo I have that works perfectly fine.
i know. my wii had issues 3 years after i bought it. its so annoying . but its the old consoles that you really want to save for the future so maybe its for the best
I can't believe my PS2 finally kicked it last year D:
I feel for you, mine died about a month ago =/.... After using it at least 3 times a week it finally came to a stop while playing Gran Turismo 3. I would gladly buy a new one, and I hope that they never die, because they are amazing! I have to agree, no new consoles can compete.
