I have played it, and there is a save feature somewhere on the game. Search up on Google or read the handbook that came with the game to find it. It shouldn't be difficult to find it, though, since on most games there is an option to save somewhere on the main screen.
Saved my goals? You mean saving how you shot your goals? No.
I save my game progress. If you want to save your goals, then I think you can go to the video mode, or whatever it's called then press save and it'll save how you shot a certain goal.
Anyways, never played the game myself, but a Google search showed me that the only way to do so is to upload the replay to EA.
That's the only way in most FIFA games I think.
If you scored a nice goal in a match and you want to save it I think this is how to do it:
First play the match. When the match is finished there should be a menu, right? This menu has exit, match statistics, re-match etc. There should be an option for match highlights, look for it.
You should get a list showing all highlights in the match, look for the goal. Now you should enter replay mode and you can see the goal. Somewhere here there should be an option to upload this replay to EA, upload it and then save it to your computer. I don't know if you can save it locally to your console.
If you don't find the option to upload the replay or save it locally try finding it in the Match Highlights menu before you enter the replay mode.
This is how you do it in Fifa 10 and 11, I'm not so sure about 08 though but it should be the same or close to the same.
