I still haven't beat it yet, but it would seem like a good idea for Game in a Bottle to release a level editor would be a good idea.

A level editor would be perfect in Gemcraft Labyrinth! =D
Normally, I work little with level editors, but in this case I would make an exception.

This would make a good idea, but Peter is already working on GC2. Also, post your ideas in the General discussion instead of making an entirely new thread.

Don't think so.
I don't care about paths, only about â- of entrances and possibility to make 1 tower+8amplifiers.

I think it's a great idea, If there is going to be another Gemcraft game, you should talk to the author about it.

Aren't enough the 169 unique levels? :-)
Take K12 or M10, and build 100 walls. Level Editor solved.

I found some of the levels to be quite repetitive, actually.
But I put this here instead of the general discussion to avoid spoilers. I hope you can understand that.

But, what if there was a challenge to build only one tower at all?

How about crafting a pylon using 4 gems with 32 amps?

Also, it would also take a load off of the developer(s) when it comes to developing levels. There is also the prospect of a player's pack.

Yes, the idea is basically ok, but not for labyrinth. This part has very few textures and tilesets (have you seen Chapter 0?).
I'm sure Peter knows about this idea, and he'll add level editor to a part that will have numerous tiles, graphical features and multiplayer.
Remember, adding this can be a big job too, and the developer is still doing his games alone.
