I'm slightly annoyed, and very disappointing,that I was banned for three days for asking someone to speak proper, understandable English. Its sad really that its wrong these days to ask someone nicely to speak in way that is at the very least understandable, if not grammatically correct. What ever happened to the importance of education and respect for others, as well as yourself? All I'm going to say is that, if such an occurrence should happen again, I will be forced to do all that is in my power to obtain justice.
Gstroy, it wasn't *that* you corrected someone, it was *how* you did it. Harassing a user several times about it is against our rules, and being cocky about getting your comment flagged, and then posting profanity that bypassed our filters is what led to the 3-day ban.
There are much friendlier and polite ways to point things out. But keep in mind that not everyone on the site speaks English as their primary language, so being rude in your approach is only going to get you into trouble.
