Does anyone here listen to dubstep or drum and base (DaB)?
If you do, who do you like?

I like Pendulum who are into DnB.
And I like different dubstep songs but not a specific artist.

On a mission is pretty good. Youtube her.

Rusko is good dubstep and so is chase and status.

Katy B seems to make a pop/dubstep. Not really my cup of tea, but it still has that catchy beat which is hard to ignore.

I'm more of a Skrillex fan, like his song "scary monsters and nice sprites" (awesome). But chase and status was pretty cool.

I've only ever really listened to Skrillex, honestly. I don't really know what dubstep is. Is there a definition? Oo

But Skrillex does dubstep xD It has got a reggae rhythm and a low bass.
If you listen to a few dubstep songs. You will hear what defines them.
Otherwise you can look it up at Wikipedia here.

Yeah, they are all drum and base.
But not as heavy as I like. If you listen to Pendulum you will understand what kind of DnB I like, a little bit more "rock".

Thank you very much, sir.
I still don't see how House and Dubstep and all those are THAT different though.
I guess I don't have an ear for these things. T.T

Yes! Flux Pavilion is great!

They are very different. House often is more melodic and contains singing. Where as dubstep focuses more on base.

Nice! A thread about dubstep. For a long time I thougt that dubstep was jumpstyle so I never tried listening to it but now I do and some tracks are great! Will try to find some new artist in this thread. It's perfect to listen on in the gym.

A song I recommend is Mt Eden - Sierra Leone. Very light dubstep I think but I can't get it out of my head.

Ligaboy> I saw that track a while ago and it's pretty nice.
