There's also a very peculiar fish with a transparent head and eyes that are in the head itself: the Macropinna microstoma (for informations click the link, there's even a video on the bottom):


Other nice aquatic fellow is the feather star (comatulidae). It swimms! It looks splendid


Another very strange animal I just found out about right now, is the common scorpionsfly:


And, to end this tour, the naked mole rat. Why is it special? Because it is, together with another mole rat species, the only mammal having an eusocial organisation, like ants: one reproducing female, soldiers, and workers!

I think the Bluebottle seaslug is pretty weird and rather beautiful looking.

There are pretty weird stuff in the insect world too, I came across the membracidae lately, the treehoppers. Very small insects, but very strange look. My favourite is the second, the blue.
