You can try this, it's a user search someone made a while back. It's not good at all, but in AG3, there's one on the site, so that should be good. I tried it out, works GREAT!

Are you talking about finding a link to their profile to "find your friends"? Then go to your profile, you can either go to your control panel, click on friends then click on names of your friends. Or, just go to your profile. You can see your favorites near the bottom of your profile, beside that, there is some of your friends there. To view all of it, click on "all friends" at the bottom of the friends list. Then, just click on a name to view their profile.

Unless you have like 5,000 friends, I don't know why you need a search engine for your own friends.

If you go to your own profil, you see in the url-space at the top of the page: 'www.armorgames.com/user/bramiboy' [this is a sample, you must see your own username]
If you delete your own name and put there the name from your friend, you will go to his/her account (if the grammar is correct)

The OP has three people added to his friends list, so I don't think he's talking about a friend search on the profile. And I don't think that would be necessary. If you do have a lot of friends added, then you can click the see all button and it'll show you all the people you've added.

If you're talking about a way to search for people. Then do what the people in this thread have mentioned. On AG3, however, you won't have to use those methods to search for people because there is a new search bar that searches for people and games more accurately. Example: You type in "exit" into the search bar then it'll show all the games and people with "exit" in the game. It's great!

I think he was asking for a way to search for friends by Email address or some other piece of information.

We've discussed this for AG3, but it would require users to willingly share that information to a search engine we'd build in order for it to work. As such, we haven't made a final decision to build something to do this yet.

Couldn't you make some search engine and it search for only the things people have shared.
Or that only people in the same country see your information, or only males...

search for only the things people have shared.

That's what I said ... users would have to willingly make that information available to the search engine, although it wouldn't get PUBLISHED anywhere on the site for others to see.

Maybe there should be a list on the homepage that will list all of the accounts on AG

Try writing a list 1,201,335 names long, tell me how long it is.

I do not Have that time but moderators and administrators should. Their job is to help the users of AG right?

How is that in anyway helping users? That's just cluttering up the homepage and is unnecessary. I could imagine having over one millions links on the homepage would slow down the entire site and that would make it bad for everyone.

And then the Mods and Admins haven't time for other things.

(By the way, cool new Armatar Cormyn.)
