I just beat the game for the first time, and I did it on Hard difficulty. Three questions, which I'll try to pose in the most spoiler-free way possible...
I have 5 achievements. Is this all of them? How do I know whether the ending I picked is the special one mentioned in the game description? I noticed that when I click Continue, there's no sign of that special ship upgrade mentioned in the ending cinematic. Do I need to play New Game + to see it?
The probability of deserving the special ending without specifically trying to get it is essentially zero. In a nutshell, you have to fully run out every character's conversation tree in the cafeteria scenes, which is incredibly difficult even when you know what you have to do to make that happen. I agree with Gremlion -- watch all the endings on YouTube.
