This is a guide for beating High Tea, if you have not already played this game, I suggest you do so.
If my times aren't correct, the events will happen soon if not immediately.
The first level is a tutorial, but it's also key to your success. Buy as much opium as you can, the prices are cheap and you're in no hurry to get 60 chests of tea. Choose deals wisely, you only have one ship so try to get the best deal while not missing another.
The second level is much like the first but gradually getting harder. You want to buy more than the required amount of tea to prepare yourself for the next demand. Don't take any risks until you get the bribe card, losing a ship could be costly. Other companies are going to take your opium business so trade quickly.
The third level is still in the normal difficulty. Opium prices will soar, you want to have as much opium as you can when that happens. Take only the best risky deals, if it's something like 39 chests and 99/chest, then of course take it. If it's something that may happen without a risk, then I suggest you leave it. Buy more than the required amount of tea.
The fourth level is where the game starts to get difficult. You must get 400 chests of tea. Tea clippers will want tea in less time.
The fifth is just plain hard. Tea is going to be extremely cheapl, save as much silver as you can for that event. Be frugal with silver, don't spend it all at once.
The sixth is even harder. The Chinese government will be extra sharp, this means more risks, if you've saved your money and bribe card, this shouldn't be too much of a problem.
The rest of the levels are very much the same. The difficulty will be raised, tea clippers will want more tea in less time, more risks, and prices sky rocket.
To sum it up
- Deal carefully.
- Take risks only when you need to.
- Buy when prices are low.
- Be lucky.
- Have fun (yes I know, it's corny)
And thats it!
Please give me any feedback, questions, comments or concerns that you may have.
Thanks, bunniecorps
