I've been playing this game for a long time Bazz. I play a mod though, Discovery. Vanilla freelancer isn't all that great once you've beaten the single player, the mod lets you fly hundreds of more ships and go to many new systems, as well as being multiplayer. I play on Discovery PTC "Relaxed RP" server. Oh, did I mention, you can fly capital ships on Discovery mod too, although I prefer fighters/bombers/gunboats
