Seriiously!!! What is wrong with it. I have a little sister who plays cod bo, and fable 2 with me sometimes. Please leave a comment about what you think about girls playing games. Pls be specific as to why it is good or bad. Or if it does nothing at all to the gaming community.
Nothing is WRONG with it. They can be... A peculiar opponent/comrade in war games, but at least you don't get raged at for missing an opponent when your gunsight/dot takes up half the foe's character with an inaccurate gun (trying to snipe a crouching foe in Ace of Spades).
a gamer's a gamer. simple enough. However, I have noticed that girls only go towards more popular games, and put less thought into if a game is actually good or not.
gender really doesn't matter, but it's a long-honored tradition to harass a girl as soon as one pops up on Halo or CoD multiplayer. That's not sexism, that's tradition.

There's nothing wrong with girls playing video games. I will say, though, not many of my female friends play video games. I only know like one or two that do.
Recently, I've had a problem with girls playing video games as well. I thought first that maybe if girls had a chance to play video games, it would expand the world of gaming...Because of my little sister I think I'm going to change my mind....She broke my Wii remote...
Oy... I was playing Red Dead Redemption multiplayer and some 11 year old girl had her mic on... All she did was gossip, almost causing me to shoot myself (in game)
Some guys(Like me) hate losing to girls in games. But that doesn't mean girls can't play games. But I really haven't heard or know many girls that play games...
I'm going to agree with the general consensus - there is absolutely nothing wrong with girls playing video games. In fact, I think it's cool when some of my female friends play video games with me. However, as many have said, female video-gamers are not as common as male ones.
Nothing against it, but what really pissed me off on the first page is that you guy's parents are oblivious to the amount of violence in cod and dont care if your 6 year old sister plays it (ouch) i agree, by the time your 12-13 you've heard/seen it all, but that is just too young.
I agree with tehpwner: they're rated M for Mature, not Mild. Personally I have nothing against girls playing. If they're good, let them pwn and try to better yourself; if ther're bad, pwn/train them until they get good/better. Give them pointers on how to improve instead of just cussing them out. If you were a n00b (boy or girl) you would probably be much more likely to quit if it's just a constant swearfest.
There is a problem when a girl in one of our popular multiplayer games Colony, she said that she is new in capitals (LIKE THIS and not Capitalist) and she said "how to play?" in caps and i said "Not telling" and she starts to type gibberish in caps like this ICTHATUAREGHEY and since this match is earthquake, i was spamming tanks since i am a capitalist and rushed to the base, that girl and her partner (In-game partner and not boyfriend and stuff girls are whining about) did nothing about it and i finished them off.

One girl =/= All girls. I guess I can say that there's a problem with guys playing flash games because in Exit Path they rage a lot. Yeah, see how flawed that logic is?
I'm a guy, I play 'Exit Path', I don't rage. 'Soul Calibur III' is a whole other story, though. (Xianghua is so annoying on Tales of Swords mode.)
If a girl is playing multiplayer, they have multiple advanteges over men. #1 Local multiplayer. I get distracted a lot in school. It will work in video games,too. Unless the game was made by Namco... Team Ninja... Midway, etc. Online multiplayer, however, they will tend to stay level-headed. We will not. They are female Tsun-Zu's.
