Halo is superior to CoD, but they really shouldn't be compared.
Call of Duty has made the same game since 2007, and capitalizes on the stupid masses to buy the game. Halo has a niche, it's about the skirmishes in halo. It doesn't care about a realistic story or realistic graphics, the game wants the players to have fun in an epic tale of one man against an army. And I'm sorry if Halo is unrealistic, Bungie thought that games should be FUN. and realism should be for LIFE.
I agree with Chillz, also i get nough of real life as it is. When I play games I want to escape from real life. I think CoD has a better story story but Halo has better multiplayer
call of duty is fun and all, but multiplayer is terrible due to hackers, unbalancedness(dont think thats a word lol), and lots of bs, i.e. campers and noobtubes
halo has a mostly flawles multiplayer
(and lets not forget that call of duty campaigns are usually pretty terrible)
Well this is a dup thread, so I expect it'll be locked sooner or later, but, I'd have to say I enjoyed Halo more. I'm not one for repeated fights in the same arena with random people, it's just not that fun. Halo definitely was more fun single player, but the multiplayer isn't all that great, while Cod has a decent singleplayer and a decent multiplayer.
Basically, there aren't many games like Halo that are good out there, but there's a TON that are like Cod.
yeah i think that halo is a bit to unrealistic, but maybe u should try it you might like it

most video games aren't made to be realistic, just as lots of movies, comics, books, tv shows, etc are not made to be realistic. These things are made to entertain, not seem like it might happen at any time
@DaBlackWulf Well, the current trend is to make movies realistic like what they're doing with Marvel and DC based movies (Iron Man and Batman), to give it a better sense of plausibility (such as changes in weapons or vehicle and costume designs) when compared to the original. The same is becoming true for video games: people want it to look/feel more believable. People used to be fine with a blurry grouping of pixels moving in sync on the screen (like Pong or Pac-Man or the old Mario Bros). This is not the case anymore.
CoD is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. It has much better graphics, OK campaigns, and EXTREMILY popular multiplayer. It schools Halo by a ton

And the campaign in Halo is much better, it actually has a real original story, and the graphics aren't so freaking good to. I mean look at some other games like Uncharted 2. It has better graphics then Cod and it came out earlier. And i think CoD is so over-rated, and Black Ops is even the worst of it. I think Halo is in every way better then CoD. The Campaign is very good. The graphics are okay, you can do much more in the multiplayer, the multiplayer is more balanced and so on.
