A few years ago the high school soccer team in my hometown played a song called The Blood of Cu Chulainn as part of their warmup. The first time I heard it, I fell in love with it, and I still love it today!
I love how this song has so many parts that counter each other, yet fit beautifully together at the same time. My favorite part is from 2:14 to 3:10. After playing the choruses a couple times, the main theme is changed slightly to a more bouncy, bright theme; however, the tension soon comes back hard at 2:47. After a brief sequence of distress, an incredibly pretty round of exposed harmony follows.
To me, this tells a story of a warrior. In the beginning, he (she) has his (her) battles and wins all the time, but by the end a new challenge arises. The warriors fights bravely, and saves his people, but at the cost of his life. The end of the song reminds me of a saying of goodbyes; maybe to represent the warrior's legacy and memory.
Yeah, I'm tend to like different music from many... I tend to like the slower, more beautiful songs (like this one). Thanks for listening and sharing your opinion (better than Cranium80 did).

That's a beautiful song. I think I liked the first version better. Thanks for the input!
