I've just been having trouble with the save games on Sonny 2. Whenever I "X" out of my Internet Browser, then come back and bring the game up again, my save file is gone. As anyone who has played the game will understand, having a saved file is important to completing the game, because it takes quite awhile to finish the game. Just wanted to know if anyone else has encountered this problem and/or has a solution. Any information will be helpful.
BTW, I am running the new Internet Explorer 9, and have Java and all of the other programs commonly needed for flash gaming fully updated.
well, this is one of the most common reasons of why browser deletes flash game storage. Check then, if you have enough storage space allocated for armorgames.com, by right-clicking on the game, selecting Properties and reviewing allocation settings. Also check if there are more settings in IE9 that affect "cookies" as MS calls them, while silently widening the meaning of the word, and if there's some that cause deletion, turn them off as well. I am using Firefox, and I have preset it to not touch any temporary files, and had no problem since 2007.
Also, in case "coming back" involved a reboot, check if you have CCleaner or any similar "PC cleaning" software installed, they too tend to drop SWF save data.
