Well the easiest way to get points is posting in threads. You could also make some games. Games count as 10 points and posts 1 or 2 depending where you post, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Also theres merits which are harder to get but are worth 25 point, you can still correct me if I'm wrong. I don't really care for the points personally I just like the armatars you unlock.
One of the easier ways is to just go through a genre and rate all the games. It may take a little while though so don't go through beat all the levels on a game and then rate it,but just halfway, and then go back and finish all the fun ones you encountered

Posting in the forums is worth 1 point. Commenting on a game or user profile is worth 2 points. Rating a game is worth 2 points. Submitting a game is worth 20 points, not 10. Armor Points unlock ranks and armatars.
When I was first starting I made a thread in the newcomers forum asking for friends. Then after I added some friends I just chatted with everybody and got a lot of points off of that. But don't just talk about anything or you'll lose points. You have to talk about AG
You don't need them. You can just enjoy the games without rating/commenting. However it is good for a game developer to get constructive feedback on their games and the rating on a game attracts users to play it.
Also as for forums (Where you get one point per post), it's also not about the points but about meeting new, like-minded people and having a good discussion/debate.
Sorry for the double post, but also to add in - When AGv3 launches, everyone will be reset to zero, so there shouldn't be a race for points. Just enjoy your time on the site :]
There won't be any AP as we know it, but there will instead be an "AG Score," which is points gained from achievements, not community involvement. Community involvement in AG3 will give Reputation instead of AP.
This is going to slitghly of topic but what do you mean by points gained from achievements. Do you mean like merits or like play so many games and you get an achievement?

The easiest way is by spamming and rating a game without playing it. Although I wouldn't consider it the best way, because it could be removed and you could loose points. Also it looks bad and you can get a bad reputation. I think the best the best way is to comment and rate a game after you have played it.
commenting, rating games, merits, forums, and creating games and submitting games gives u 20 points
Well now you just said all the ways of getting points when the question was "which is the best way of getting points".
Um, no you don't...you can talk about anything you want.
Well you can talk about anything you want but if you post a comment unrelated to the game it may be removed if seen by a moderator. And you will loose the points you earned by that comment.
